idaho Mule Deer HUNTS
Not traditionally considered a trophy mule deer area, north Idaho is actually a sleeper for some dandy mulies. The big ones live in some remote and rugged country so physical condition is important. There are general archery and rifle seasons which run 8/30-9/24 and 11/1-12/1, respectively. Almost all hunting is spot and stalk.
All mule deer hunts are for 6 days. Archery or rifle hunts are $2500 for 2x1 or $3500 for 1x1.
